A blood donation camp was organized by Bokaro Old Xavierian Association (BOXA) for children suffering from Thalassemia. This camp was organized by the alumni in the Chapel Hall of St. Xavier’s School.
In this blood donation camp, association secretary Sajan Kapoor, treasurer Nitish Mishra, Ravindra Mand, Rohit Talwar, Sunil Yadav, Shankar Aggarwal, Chandan Jha, Kanchan Jha and many others donated blood voluntarily.
Secretary of Bokaro Old Xavierian Association said that every year his organization collects blood for children suffering from Thalassemia through blood donation camp and provides blood to those children for free.
Father Arun Minj, Principal of St. Xavier’s School said that blood should be donated for children suffering from Thalassemia, because donating your blood can save the life of a child and also instills hope in him to live life.
Association Treasurer Nitesh Mishra appealed to all the residents of Bokaro to donate blood so that we can save the life of someone in need.
