A young man died tragically in a road accident, locals blocked the road

17-year-old youth Aman Ansari died in a tragic road accident near Bank of India on NH 23 at Petarwar in Bokaro district. The accident occurred when a slag dust loaded truck crushed the head of bike rider Aman, due to which he died on the spot. Aman was the only son of Azad Ansari, a resident of Khetko in Petarwar police station area and was a student of 11th class of Bokaro Thermal School.

As soon as the news of the incident was received, the family members and the people from the fields blocked the NH 23 main road, due to which a long queue of vehicles was formed for 2 to 3 kilometers on both sides of the road. People demanded compensation for the family of the deceased.

The jam was removed after four hours after talks with former MLA and Backward Class Commission Chairman Yogendra Prasad and administrative officials who reached the spot. The administration assured to provide assistance to the relatives of the deceased, after which the situation could be normalised.
