Krishna Pal Singh Receives Maithili Sharan Gupt Award from Railway Ministry

Krishna Pal Singh, Assistant Signal and Telecommunication Engineer, has been honored with the third prize of the Maithili Sharan Gupt Award for his first poetry collection titled “Antaraal.” The award was presented under the Maithili Sharan Gupt Award Scheme by the Directorate of Official Language, Railway Ministry (Railway Board).

The award ceremony took place on October 18, 2024, in the conference hall of Rail Bhavan, where Krishna Pal Singh received the honor. Currently, he is posted at the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Adra.

On this remarkable achievement, Divisional Railway Manager of Adra, Sumit Narula, along with Additional Divisional Railway Manager and Additional Chief Official Language Officer of Adra, K.N. Ghosh, and Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Chief Official Language Officer of Adra, extended their congratulations. Several other officers and employees also conveyed their best wishes to Krishna Pal Singh for his success.
