Bokaro : At Jai Jawan petrol pump located in Sector 4 of the city, three youths attacked a nozzle man with a knife and injured him. The incident occurred when three youths reached the petrol pump on a bike and after filling petrol worth Rs 100, started running away without paying.
The petrol pump attendant chased the running youth and caught hold of the bike. Meanwhile, a young man sitting behind on the bike got down and attacked the petrol pump attendant with a knife. However, the petrol pump attendant showed courage and did not leave the bike and with the help of other personnel, the three miscreants were caught.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Sector 4 police station reached the spot and took the three youths into custody. Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that one of these youths has been identified as Golu of Sector 4. According to the information, before attacking the petrol pump, these miscreants had looted another person at knifepoint.
At present, the police is interrogating them and a detailed investigation of the case is being done.
