In light of the upcoming Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) examination, four pairs of special trains will be operated by the Ranchi Rail Division to ease the travel for candidates and passengers. This initiative has been taken to manage the expected rush during the exam days, ensuring smooth travel for exam takers.
1. Ranchi-Bhagalpur Exam Special Train (08601/08602)
Ranchi to Bhagalpur (Train No. 08601): The train will depart from Ranchi on September 21, 2024 (Saturday), at 6:00 PM. It will reach Bokaro Steel City at 8:30 PM and depart from Dhanbad to arrive at Bhagalpur the next day at 6:15 AM. This train will operate for one trip only.
Bhagalpur to Ranchi (Train No. 08602): The return journey will commence on September 22, 2024 (Sunday) from Bhagalpur at 5:35 PM, arriving in Ranchi at 5:20 AM the following day.
2. Ranchi-Bhagalpur Exam Special Train (08603/08604)
Ranchi to Bhagalpur (Train No. 08603): This train will depart from Ranchi on September 22, 2024 (Sunday) at 6:00 PM, passing through Bokaro Steel City and Dhanbad, and reaching Bhagalpur at 6:15 AM the next day.
Bhagalpur to Ranchi (Train No. 08604): It will depart from Bhagalpur on September 23, 2024 (Monday) at 5:35 PM and arrive in Ranchi at 5:20 AM the following morning.
3. Ranchi-Patna Exam Special Train (08626/08625)
Ranchi to Patna (Train No. 08626): Scheduled to depart from Ranchi on September 21, 2024 (Saturday) at 9:40 PM, the train will arrive in Bokaro Steel City at 12:05 AM and reach Patna at 7:45 AM the next day.
Patna to Ranchi (Train No. 08625): It will leave Patna on September 22, 2024 (Sunday) at 8:45 PM, arriving in Ranchi at 6:45 AM the next day.
4. Ranchi-Patna Exam Special Train (08624/08623)
Ranchi to Patna (Train No. 08624): This train will depart on September 22, 2024 (Sunday) at 9:40 PM and reach Patna by 7:45 AM the next day.
Patna to Ranchi (Train No. 08623): It will depart from Patna on September 23, 2024 (Monday) at 8:45 PM and reach Ranchi at 6:45 AM the next morning.
Various categories of coaches, including general class, sleeper class, and air-conditioned 3-tier coaches, will be available to ensure comfort for the candidates and passengers.
