As per the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Excise Bokaro, the District Excise Team and the police of Jaridih Police Station jointly raided the illegal foreign liquor manufacturing site (Mini Factory) in Tupkadih under Jaridih Police Station. During the raid, charges are being registered against the absconding accused on the basis of relevant sections of the Excise Act.
Sub Inspector Sadar-cum-Tenughat Sunny Vivek Tirkey, Sub Inspector Bermo-cum-Chandpura Ravi Ranjan and Jaridih police station personnel were present in the raiding team.
The team has seized 100 liters of raw spirit, empty liquor bottles (plastic and glass) caps, stickers with fake logo of Jharkhand government and a vehicle (Mahindra Xylo) from the spot.
