Under order number 429/NGO issued on 07 August by the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Ranchi, instructions have been given to install CCTV cameras at important places in the urban area under section 163 of BNSS. In this connection, an important meeting was organized in the Chas police station premises under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Chas.
The meeting was attended by the Chamber of Commerce, hospital, petrol pumps, schools and owners of other important establishments in the presence of Chirachas in-charge. The main purpose of this meeting was to make these institutions aware about the importance of security and the necessity of CCTV cameras.
Police officials said that the installation of CCTV cameras will increase security and it will be easy to keep an eye on criminal activities. This move will not only improve law and order but will also strengthen the sense of security among the public. The owners of all the establishments welcomed the initiative and assured to make it a success.
