Lawyers to Resume Work at SDO Court from Tuesday

The three-day standoff regarding seating arrangements for lawyers at the new building of the Chas SDO Court has finally been resolved. A positive discussion took place today in the presence of SDO Mr. Om Prakash Gupta and Chas SDPO Mr. Praveen Kumar Singh with representatives of the lawyers. The SDO assured the lawyers that proper seating arrangements will soon be made in the new premises. Until then, they will continue to work from their previous seating area.

In the meeting, key members including Acting General Secretary Mr. Mahesh Chaudhary, Treasurer Somnath Shekhar, National Council Member of the Indian Association of Lawyers Advocate Ranjit Giri, Executive Members Mr. Atul Kumar, Mrityunjay Mallik, Sampoorna Chandra Layak, Kamdev Pathak, Amresh Kumar, Parikshit Kumar Yadav, Chandi Charan Mahato, Anil Mahato, Anant Kumar Pandey, SD Pandey, Kamal Prakash Mahato, and Vishwajeet Kumar were present.

Judicial activities at the SDO Court will resume as usual from tomorrow. It is notable that for the past three days, lawyers had been boycotting the court, leading to a complete halt in judicial proceedings.
