Aavya Singh, a student of DPS Bokaro, was honoured by the Jharkhand Government in a prestigious award ceremony held at Project Bhavan, Ranchi, on Tuesday. Aavya, who secured the third position in the state and second in Bokaro district in the SSE 2024 Examination conducted by CBSE with a stellar score of 98.8%, received a cheque of Rs 1 lakh, a laptop, and a smartphone as part of the recognition.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, and witnessed the presence of several key state officials, including Education Minister Baidyanath Ram, Labour, Employment and Skill Development Minister Satyanand Bhokta, and Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon. The event was organized to felicitate state toppers from CBSE, JAC, and ICSE boards, celebrating the academic brilliance of students across Jharkhand.
Currently a Class XI student at DPS Bokaro, Aavya’s remarkable achievement has brought immense pride to the school. Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal of DPS Bokaro, congratulated her on her outstanding performance, reiterating the school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence.
