Bokaro Bar Association advocate dies due to drowning in pond

Bokaro Bar Association advocate Surjit Mukherjee, 35, died due to drowning in the pond on Thursday. The deceased was a resident of Patharkatta Side, Chandankiyari Road, Advocate Chas. According to the information received, Surjeet Mukherjee had gone to the pond for the purpose of taking bath, where he drowned due to going too deep.

There is a wave of mourning in the advocate’s family due to his sudden death. The deceased was the only son of an advocate family and left behind his wife and a son. His family members are in bad condition and crying.

His fellow advocate Ranjit Giri has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Surjit Mukherjee. He said, “On September 7 (Saturday), the advocates of Bokaro Bar Association will stay away from work as a mark of condolence.”
