Hindi Day and Official Language Fortnight Inauguration Ceremony Held at Bokaro Steel Plant

The inauguration ceremony of Hindi Day and Official Language Fortnight was held on September 14 in the committee hall of Ispat Bhavan at Bokaro Steel Plant. The event’s chief guest was Harimohan Jha, Chief General Manager (Human Resources). Senior executives and officials from the Rajbhasha Department of Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) were also present at the event.

The program began with a welcome address by Vibha Rani, Senior Manager (Communication and Administration). Following this, messages from the Union Home Minister, Steel Minister, Minister of State for Steel, and the Chairman of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) were read by Abhinav Shankar, Senior Manager (Public Relations), and Junior Manager Ravi Kumar Sinha.

 

Chief Guest Harimohan Jha extended his best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Hindi Day. In his address, he emphasized the role of Hindi in strengthening India’s unity in diversity, which is a hallmark of Indian culture. He encouraged everyone to embrace Hindi with pride and to increase its usage in official work.

In a separate event held at Bokaro General Hospital, a Hindi Day program was organized under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer Dr. B. B. Karunamay. During the program, individuals who made outstanding contributions to the promotion of the official language Hindi were also honored.
