A health camp was organized by Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City in collaboration with Paras Hospital, HEC, under Project Positive Health (PPH) run by Rotary in the premises of Better Vision Sector 4. In which, under the program named “One spoon less, four steps ahead, know your number”, about 109 people were examined for their height, weight, random blood sugar, blood pressure etc. Everyone was also motivated by expert doctors to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion, club president Mahesh Kumar Gupta stressed the need for regular health checkups and gave a motivational statement to everyone to get regular health checkups done. He explained how we can be alerted to health risks in advance through regular checkups, clean behavior and a balanced diet.
Neurosurgeon Dr. Manish Kumar and General Physician Dr. Dheeraj Kumar of Paras Hospital HEC, Ranchi examined all the present patients in detail and gave them proper advice and guidance. Despite heavy rain, a total of 109 people were examined in the camp, which is quite commendable. The camp ended around 4:15 pm.
At the end of the camp, Rotary Club Secretary Hardeep Singh, while giving a vote of thanks, expressed his gratitude to the doctors and para medical staff of Paras Hospital and all the members of the Rotary Club and thanked them for successfully organizing the camp.
In this program, mainly the senior doctors of Paras Hospital along with their entire team participated enthusiastically. In this team, the role of Paras Hospital administrator Shashi Anand, Deepak Chauhan and nurse Anu Kumari was especially commendable. All the senior and junior staff of Paras Hospital and Better Vision played an important role in the successful organization of this camp.
