Ganesh Visarjan Celebrated with Fervor at Dr. Priyadarshi Zaruhar’s Residence in Guru Govind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus, Kandra.

The Director of Guru Govind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus, Dr. Priyadarshi Zaruhar, hosted the Ganesh Visarjan ceremony at his residence. The event saw an enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students residing within the college campus. The celebrations were marked by devotion and joy.
The event commenced with prayers and the chanting of hymns, followed by an aarti ceremony. Attendees applied gulal (colored powder) to each other, symbolizing the spirit of festivity. The idol of Lord Ganesha was then carried to a nearby lake for immersion (visarjan), as students lit fireworks to accompany the procession.
The rituals were performed under the guidance of Kandra’s priest, Dhruv Pandit, who chanted sacred mantras during the pooja. After the immersion, the gathered devotees received prasad (holy offerings).
Addressing the attendees, the priest emphasized the significance of Lord Ganesha as the harbinger of wisdom, intellect, and prosperity, bestowing success upon his devotees. The event resonated with the sounds of devotional songs and celebratory chants, filling the campus with an atmosphere of spiritual bliss. Many in attendance danced joyfully to the devotional music, further enlivening the occasion.
