Adra: As part of the Swachhta Pakhwada “Swachhta Hi Seva” 2024, a Walkathon/Marathon was organized today by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at various stations, including Adra Division. The primary aim of this event was to raise awareness about cleanliness and encourage every section of society to actively participate in the Swachhta (cleanliness) campaign.
The Walkathon commenced from Adra Railway Station and passed through prominent locations in the city. Senior officials, including DSC Debjyoti Chatterjee and ASC J. Konwar, along with several RPF personnel, enthusiastically participated in the event and spread the message of cleanliness among the public.
It is noteworthy that various cleanliness-related activities are being organized in Adra Division as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada “Swachhta Hi Seva.” Alongside the Walkathon, other activities such as cleanliness drives, awareness programs, and health camps will also be held. These activities will continue until October 2, 2024, commemorating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
