India’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated at ESL Steel Limited with much patriotic fervour and gaiety. The programme featured an impressive Guard of Honour presented by ESL Steel Limited’s Security Department personnel followed by hoisting of India’s tricolour and culminated with a motivating and invigorating short speech by Mr Ashish Kumar Gupta, Whole Time Director & CEO, ESL Steel Limited.
Independence Day celebrations inside the ESL Steel Limited’s Siyaljori plant area marked a participation of around 100, including those from the local communities and employees. The gathering included Mr. Ravish Sharma (Chief Operating Officer, ESL Steel Limited), Mr Anand Dubey (Chief Finance Officer, ESL Steel Limited), Mr Vijay Sindhu (Chief Security Officer, ESL Steel Limited), Ms. Meenakshi Sabharwal (Chief Quality Officer, ESL Steel Limited) and Ms Divya Tripathi (Head – Policy & Business Promotion).
In his address on the occasion Mr Ashish Kumar Gupta, Whole Time Director & CEO, ESL Steel Limited stressed that Community Growth and Business growth goes hand in hand. He stressed in his short highly motivating speech that ESL Steel Limited does not only produce Steel; but we are proud that we are also empowering the nearby communities for a thriving future of our State and our nation. He also reiterated the fact that ESL Steel Limited is expecting the culmination of its legacy issues of the past and is poised on a trajectory of high-speed tremendous growth within the year.
