Traffic DSP launched awareness campaign “No Helmet, No Petrol”

• The campaign was jointly launched by the Transport Department under the leadership of Traffic DSP.

The administration has taken a big decision to reduce the increasing accidents due to ignoring road rules. Now petrol will not be available without helmet.

The District Transport and District Traffic Department has directed all the petrol pump operators concerned to paste the notice “No Helmet, No Petrol”.
On Thursday, this campaign was conducted at KL Bhasin Petrol Pump located at Naya More. A total of 113 people were counselled. Traffic DSP Ashish Kumar Mahali, Traffic Police Inspector, Santosh of Transport Department and other team members were present on the spot.

Traffic DSP said that this initiative is being taken to bring public awareness. Appealed to two-wheeler operators to compulsorily wear helmets. He has directed the petrol pump operators to paste the boards of “No Helmet, No Petrol” at their places. Do not give petrol to any two wheeler driver without a helmet. He said that if the petrol pump operators do not follow this order, action will be taken against the concerned.
