Bulletin India, Desk.
With the aim of improving security and quality of service, State Bank of India (SBI) has removed its old software and implemented new software. This software has been activated across India from August 27. However, the bank employees are facing many problems in the initial days in using the new software, which is causing delay in banking services.
Most of the bank’s employees are still in the process of understanding and adjusting to this new software. Many new features and technical changes have been included in the new software compared to the old software, some of which are taking time for the employees to understand. Due to this situation, the banking process has slowed down, due to which customers are also facing inconvenience.
Customer complaints are mainly about long queues, delays in transactions, and interruptions in some services. Bank officials say that this situation is temporary and as employees understand the new software better, the speed and quality of services will improve.
The bank has organized training sessions for employees on the use of the new software and technical support has also been provided so that they can adjust to this change as quickly as possible. Apart from this, the bank has appealed to the customers to remain patient and assured that this change will ultimately make the banking experience even better.
This move by SBI is an important effort towards further strengthening security standards as well as upgrading digital banking services. But in this process of change, both the bank and the customers need to show some patience and understanding.
