Gua: In a significant achievement, the “Udaan” team from the Power Department of SAIL Gua Mines has won the Gold Medal at the 32nd Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts, held at the Rourkela Institute of Management Studies auditorium on September 21-22.
The “Udaan” team was facilitated by S.R. Naik and led by Gautam Pathak, with deputy leader Tufan Ghosh and members C.K. Sharma and S. Das. The Gua management extended their congratulations to all team members for their remarkable achievement.
The convention saw participation from 222 teams, including the team from Gua Mines’ Power Department, which presented a case study on minimizing jamming in cone crushers. Participants from various industries across distant regions presented their innovative ideas during the event.
The audience appreciated the language and style of the presentations, with rounds of applause boosting the morale of the participants. SAIL Gua’s team received both constructive suggestions and much praise for their efforts. The success was attributed to the leadership of SAIL Gua’s Chief General Manager Kamal Bhaskar and the entire SAIL Gua family.
