Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City Organizes Teacher Felicitation Ceremony at Rotary Play School

The Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City, under the leadership of President Rotarian Mahesh Kumar Gupta, organized a Teacher Felicitation Ceremony at Rotary Play School with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to honor the invaluable contributions of teachers from Rotary Play School as well as from various prominent schools across the city. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Club Secretary Hardeep Singh, School Chairperson Rotarian Poonam Trehan, Director of Non-Health Committee Rotarian Anil Tripathi, former Rotary District Governor Rotarian Mahesh Kejriwal, senior member and former president Rotarian Ashok Jain, former president Rotarian B.S. Jaiswal, Rotarian Ashok Kedia, Rotarian Sanjay Tiwari, Rotarian Mannu Srivastava, Rotarian Vivek Kakkar, Rotarian Dharampal, Principal Rotarian Mansi Sahana, Vice-Principal Rotarian Seema Giri, Advisory Committee Head Rotarian Pradeep Narayan, and Treasurer Rotarian Pradeep Ray, among other Rotary members. The event also witnessed the full attendance of invited teachers from various schools.

 

Addressing the gathering, President Rotarian Mahesh Kumar Gupta expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their selfless dedication and contribution to shaping young minds. He emphasized the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the nation’s future, stating that their unwavering commitment to education lays the foundation for a strong and progressive society.

“Teachers are the guides who inspire, motivate, and prepare our children to face the challenges of the world. We are deeply grateful for their hard work and dedication,” Gupta remarked.

Rotary Play School Chairperson Rotarian Poonam Trehan also commended the efforts of teachers in ensuring the holistic development of students. She highlighted Rotary Club’s continuous support for education and the well-being of teachers. “We are committed to recognizing and supporting the invaluable contributions of teachers, and today’s event is a small token of our gratitude,” she said. Trehan also praised the resilience and dedication of teachers during challenging times, adding, “Our city’s teachers have consistently demonstrated passion and commitment, ensuring that every child receives the best education possible. Their efforts are crucial to the overall success of our schools and community.”

Former District Governor Rotarian Mahesh Kejriwal added, “Their commitment to excellence is reflected in the growth of our students, and it is our privilege to honor their contributions today.”

During the ceremony, a total of 47 teachers from 16 different schools were honored by President Rotarian Mahesh Kumar Gupta, his executive committee, and senior members of the Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City.

In addition, former president Rotarian Chandrima Ray organized a fun game between the teachers and Rotary Club members, which brought great joy to all participants.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation, gifts, and Lord Ganesha’s favorite sweet, laddoos, as a token of respect in celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. A community meal followed, further strengthening bonds of respect and harmony between all attendees. Overall, the event was one of the most successful programs ever held in Bokaro.
