Bokaro : The renovated version of the “Swarn Jayanti Smarak” (Golden Jubilee Memorial) situated in front of Bokaro Airport was inaugurated today by the Director-in-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), Mr. Birendra Kumar Tiwari. On this occasion, Executive Director (Human Resources) Ms. Rajshree Banerjee, Chief General Manager (City Services) Mr. Kundan Kumar, senior officials, and a large number of citizens were present.

The memorial and its surroundings have been redeveloped in an attractive manner. The premises now include well-arranged seating facilities, walkways, lush greenery, and modern lighting, aimed at creating a peaceful, inspiring, and healthy environment for the residents of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tiwari said that Bokaro Steel Plant is not only contributing significantly to the industrial progress of the country but is also committed to strengthening the social and cultural life of Bokaro. He expressed confidence that the “Swarn Jayanti Smarak” would emerge as a prominent hub for health, leisure, and community activities for the city’s residents in the future.
