The senior leader and MP Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Vijay Hansda’s wife Catherine Hembram passed away. According to the information received, he breathed his last late night on 23rd August. Catherine Hembram was battling cancer for some time.
Catherine and Vijay Hansda got married five years ago. Catherine was originally from Nalhati village in Birbhum district of West Bengal. She was a science graduate, and her father owns a stone mining company.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed condolences after hearing the news of Catherine Hembram’s demise.
He posted on his social media handle and wrote, “With deep sorrow I would like to tell all of you that the news of the demise of the wife of our senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader and Lok Sabha MP Shri Vijay Hansda ji is extremely heart-wrenching. His departure at a very young age is an irreparable loss for our JMM family. My thoughts are with Vijay and his family in this difficult time. May Marang Buru grant peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.”
