Justice MS Ramachandra Rao was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Birsa Mandap in the Raj Bhavan, where Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Chief Justice.
Following the ceremony, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren congratulated Justice Rao on his appointment. The event was attended by the judges of the High Court, Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan, senior advocates, the President and members of the State Bar Council, as well as the President and Secretary of the Advocates’ Association. Several other advocates from the High Court, including additional advocate generals, also graced the occasion.
