Garba and Dandiya Dance Event Organized by Students at Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus

A vibrant Garba and Dandiya dance event was recently organized by the students of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus, Engineering and Management College, Kandra, Chas, Bokaro. The event celebrated India’s rich cultural heritage, bringing students and faculty together in a festive display of unity.

Renowned poetess and president of Kavy Spandan, Bokaro, Reena Yadav, graced the occasion as the chief guest. She was joined by Kundan Upadhyay, State President of J.S.T.S.W. and Inter-Processes Association, as a special invited guest. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed with bouquets and gifts by the college administration.

The event coordinator, Sushma Kumari, Assistant Professor, ECE Department, concluded the program with a vote of thanks. The event was skillfully organized by students Aashi from the Civil Engineering Department, First Year, and Anshu, who played a pivotal role in making the event a success.

The traditional Garba dance, symbolizing Indian culture and unity, saw enthusiastic participation from students across various courses, including B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA, and Diploma in Engineering. Both students and teachers took part in the celebrations with equal fervor, showcasing their talents.

Prominent faculty members such as Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, Prof. Kritika Chaudhary, and V.K. Singh also joined in the celebrations, donning traditional attire, thus fostering a healthy cultural tradition within the college.

College President Tarsem Singh and Secretary S.P. Singh extended their congratulations to the students for their spirited participation and successful execution of the event.
