Bokaro: A friendly cricket match was organized between the Bokaro Media Club and the Postal Department at the sector 12/E, Khalsa Ground on Sunday. After winning the toss, the Bokaro Media Club elected to bat first and posted a total of 86 runs in the allotted 12 overs.
Manish Kumar was the top scorer for the Bokaro Media Club with a well-played 36 runs, while Laxmi contributed 18 runs and Ramesh added 8 runs. Other players including Rammoorti Prasad, Chuman Kumar, Himanshu Verma, Abhay, Rajesh Kumar, and Dharmanath Kumar also made commendable contributions.
Chasing the target, the Postal Department team managed to score 80 runs in their 12 overs, falling short by 6 runs. Gulshan scored 25 runs and Vishal added 15 runs for the team. Devendra Kumar, Vishal Sharma, Abhijeet, Vicky, Vikram, Alok, and Prasenjit were among those who gave notable performances.
Based on his outstanding performance, Manish Kumar of the Bokaro Media Club was declared Player of the Match.
The match was witnessed by several spectators including Mrityunj Mishra, Rajesh Raj, Surendra Sawant, Himanshu, Ravi Ranjan, Jitendra Narayan, Sunil Kumar, Dilip, Aryan, and others.
