Bokaro : A government-run liquor shop employee, identified as Sunil Singh, has reportedly fled with approximately ₹43 lakh from a liquor store operated under the Jharkhand government. The incident has led to the registration of a case at the City Police Station.

According to the FIR lodged at the City Police Station, Sunil Singh, a resident of Sector-09, absconded with ₹42,85,916 from the liquor outlet located at Dundibagh Mod. In response, police teams have launched raids across multiple districts in Jharkhand and Bihar to track down the accused. His arrest has become a major challenge for the authorities, given the involvement of government revenue in the case.

The liquor shop in question operates under the Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited (JSBCL). The state government has outsourced manpower management for these outlets to K.S. Multi Facilities Services Pvt. Ltd., the company where Sunil Singh was employed. Following the incident, Virendra Kumar Gupta, the area officer of the company, filed a complaint with the police.

Authorities are intensifying their search to recover the stolen amount and apprehend the accused. Further investigations are underway.
