Bokaro, Desk.
To crack down on illegal mining in Bokaro district, an intensive vehicle checking campaign was carried out under the leadership of District Mining Officer Ravi Kumar Singh on the instructions of Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav. Under this campaign, two tractors were caught illegally transporting minerals without mining challan on the main road in front of Balidih police station. The mining department team took immediate action and seized these two tractors and handed them over to Balidih police station, and an FIR was also registered in this regard.
During this time, the mining team also checked many other vehicles on the main roads of Balidih police station and Jaridih police station area. Mine inspector Jitendra Kumar and police force were also present in this campaign.
It is known that the mining department is constantly conducting raids and seizing vehicles loaded with illegal sand and coal. Despite this, the business of illegal sand and coal continues in the city. In such a situation, the question is bound to arise that who is protecting these illegal traders?
While such actions are curbing illegal mining to some extent, it is also important to find a permanent solution to this problem so that misuse of mineral resources and illegal trade in the district can be completely stopped.
