ACB Jharkhand Takes Swift Action Early Morning, Raids Multiple Locations in Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Chaibasa, and Giridih

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Jharkhand launched a swift action this morning, conducting raids at multiple locations across Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Chaibasa, and Giridih. According to available information, the raids are linked to the land scam in Bargai, Ranchi. The ACB team is currently conducting searches at the residences and offices of Hazaribagh SDM Shailesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar Sinha, Rinku Sinha, Nilesh Kumar, and Uday Shankar Prasad.

 

Shailesh Kumar, who has previously served as the Circle Officer (CO) in Bargai, is a key figure in the investigation. An ACB team consisting of 8 to 10 officers reached Hazaribagh early in the morning to raid Shailesh Kumar’s office, though he was not present at the time. The team is currently searching through his office records.

In addition, retired revenue employee Uday Shankar Prasad resides in Giridih, while Vikas Kumar Sinha is posted at the AG Office in Ranchi. Rinku Sinha is a marble businessman, and Nilesh Kumar is currently posted in the Excise Department in Sahibganj. The raids are ongoing, and further details are awaited.
