Ranchi : The Jharkhand government on Monday announced a significant reshuffle in the state police administration, transferring several IPS officers across various districts. As part of the reshuffle, new police officers have been appointed in multiple districts including Bokaro.
According to an official notification, IPS officer Harvinder Singh of the 2018 batch has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bokaro district. Prior to this posting, Singh was serving as Superintendent of Police, Communication and Technical Services, Ranchi.
He will assume charge in Bokaro with immediate effect and will remain in this position until further orders.
This administrative move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and law enforcement across the state. Further transfers and postings are expected to follow in the coming weeks.
