Ranchi: The Jharkhand state government has issued transfer and posting orders for seven IPS officers. Anil Palta has been appointed as the new Director General of Railways, while senior IPS officer M.S. Bhatia has been posted as the Director General-cum-Commandant of the Home Guards and Fire Services Department. Bhatia was previously awaiting posting. The notification regarding these transfers was issued by the state’s Home, Jail, and Disaster Management Department on Tuesday.

Anil Palta, who was serving as the Director General-cum-Commandant of the Home Guards and Fire Services Department, has now been transferred to the Railways. Meanwhile, M.S. Bhatia, who was awaiting posting, has been assigned to the position vacated by Palta.

 

In another key posting, IG Provision Pankaj Kamboj has been appointed as the Managing Director of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited.  

Additionally, several Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) have also been appointed:  

Shubham Kumar Khandelwal has been posted as the new SDPO of Simaria. He was previously awaiting posting.

Gaurav Goswami has been appointed as the SDPO of Patratu.

Vedant Shankar has been posted as the SDPO of Kisko.

Shivam Prakash has been appointed as the SDPO of Chakradharpur. He was also awaiting posting.

These transfers and postings are part of the state government’s routine administrative reshuffle to streamline the functioning of the police force and other related departments.
